The Heritage Collection starts and ends with you.
You provide a material that matters to you, and we will transform it into a one-of-a-kind watch.
It could be a piece of clothing, canvas, paper, fabric or another material with a story behind it.
Something important to you.
Once your material arrives at the studio, we prepare it for the Micarta lamination process.
Layers are arranged, saturated with resin and compressed into a solid material that can be shaped and finished into the components of your watch.
Part of what makes the process interesting is that the original material never disappears completely.
Fibers, colors, patterns and small irregularities will remain visible in the finished piece.
Every Heritage watch is individually made around the material provided.
There is no attempt to make every piece look the same.
How the fabric layers, where a pattern appears and how the material changes during machining all become part of the final watch.
That variation is the point.
Your watch belongs to you because the material belonged to you first.
Gryphon provides the design and the craft.
You provide what we can't manufacture, the meaning.
The result is a watch that could only have been made from your story.
